OK, so I'm seeing 'messed up' links and text anywhere Bigfolio is mentioned????

Matt, DJ or someone else in the know want to clue me/us in as to why?

Hopefully I'm not starting any big stink, just curious if this is on purpose and why.

www.bigfolo.com link (I did not mistype the links to the left).

For the record I'm not a customer of theirs, but I have big respect for their support and commitment to our community, including hosting the first OSP-West last year. So unless they asked someone to do this, I think it's wrong.

wow. just wow. i realize that erik (and the template company he works for that most of us agree is freakin' awesome) has some issues with osp and all, but i have a hard time he would be so irrational as to ask the moderators here to change all "bigfolio" to "bigfolo" that's absurd. [Edited to Add: And we have learned that they didn't....]

i can see where the *other* template company, of whom osp has somewhat volatile reviews, might want that. but bf has gotten rave reviews here, why RUIN that reputation? due to some high-school rivalry? [Edited to add: They didn't start it...so good on them! reputation intact! ]

and frankly, i had a lot of respect for both bf's and dj's website solutions, until all this broke out. now i'm really just thinking about doing it myself to avoid the drama.

if you type bigfolio as two words, all lowercase, it changes to folio

If you type www.big-folio.com it changes to www.bigfolo.com

How about upper case - OK if you type it two words with the first letter in caps, it still is: folio

i was on a forum once where the moderator pulled an april fools on us and everytime we typed a certain word, something else showed up - this is why i think its internally done on this site.

oh it's definitely intentional. and since we've eliminated Matt as the moderator at fault then either:

1. It was DJ's idea, and he's doing it without BF's knowledge
2. BF asked DJ to do this, and he agreed.
3. Russian hackers have decided this was the best way to cause trouble.

its easy. you hold down the shift key while your typing, and then at the same time, you scratch your nose, then you pull your ear wiht your right hand and then before you hit enter, you jump up and down three times and yell: 'i love blu domain', then spit in your hand and rub your hands together and tap your heals together three times.
