Ok, so I booked a client pretty last minute and typically my package includes an engagement session and custom guestbook with the pictures in it. I told her in the beginning we would be cutting it close to be able to take the photos, proof them, and get an album designed, but she wanted to go for it anyway. Now my problem is, she finally approved the proof for the guestbook design and now it's much to late to order the book (I typically use askua for that type of thing... and even with a rush it's still three weeks... I even tried calling but they basically just said tough luck)


Soo... my question is... is there a company out there similar to Asuka that could get me an album printed and delivered to my doorstep by May 7th????

WHCC comes to mind. Probably not the best option but one of the quickest.

I would say Vision art- that is who I used and it was super fast! And beautiful!

I would look to vision art for this order, too. A little pricer than asuka, but worth it!! They make a great presentation and they get to you really quick!!

I'd love to use kiss, but I budgeted like $90 - $150 bucks for the engagement book and Kiss is a bit more expensive.... But if it comes down to it and these other people don't get back to me by later today, I just might have to do that...

Can you even write on Kiss pages??? It is a guestbook after all...

They are usually pretty quick in getting back to me. Try giving them a call.

I agree that KISS albums totally rock! I use them for my wedding albums and love Kevin and Shaun, both!! They are totally awesome guys!! KISS books take just a little longer in turn around and are a little bit pricer.

I used the Tap superior self adhesive albums. Just print normal 8X8, or 10X10 prints at your lab, and get one of the Tap Superior albums, and self mount the prints into the book. You can sign right on the print.

ACI. I uploaded a book on Sunday afternoon, and it's shipping to me tomorrow.

The new lay flat books from WHCC are really really nice. They have thicker pages than the old ones from them. Just make sure you order it without the coating. It can't be signed if you have the coating on it. I have ordered two in the last couple of weeks and both times they shipped within two days. They send them two day shipping, so you should have it within about 4 business days from when you order. Make sure you check the layout size to match theirs.

Well typically like I said before I use asukabook, which is only $101.00 for the book, so I don't know why I'd have to budget for any more than the book usually costs me...???

Anyways, I ended up going with VisionArt, they were very helpful and the customer service was amazing! They said they could get be the book to me by later next week! Yeah!!!! Thank you guys!

Tell us if you get it in time and how good it looks. Everyone needs a quick album every now and then.

I try to keep up on my email even when I am out of the office. Just for that kind of thing when someone is in a rush.

Hey Guys!

I ended up going with Vision Art, and they were AWESOME! I'm not sure what happened to the e-mail, but I just gave them a call, several in fact and they walked me through the whole process. I got the book order in by the end of the day, and it arrived on my doorstep yesterday! Best of all it looks AMAZING!!! I am so extremely happy with it, I'm probably going to be throwing Asukabook out the window! The printing is great, the quality is awesome, The customer service was fantastic and it was so FAST! I posted some photos of the book up on my BLOG.

The photos don't reflect the amazing image quality the book has, but they'll give you a general idea...

I used to use Asuka too until I tried VisionArt & now I don't use Asuka anymore Plus they deliver waaay faster

PS I think it helps that I am also a photographer and really know how time is such a great factor it getting books to the clients.

If most are like me the books is already weeks late by the time I get done picking the images and designing it.
