My latest client wants a Guest Sign In book with pics from their engagement shoot which is cool. However, not sure which vendor to get this from. They did make it clear that it should be writeable with a regular pen and not just a sharpie, so that rules out some of the extra glossy print styles. Any ideas?
To give context, I am still shooting low-mid end brides. Looking for something a little more simple around $50ish in cost to the photographer.

Thanks Robin. Do you just get the Hinged Paper option without the UV coating? That seems like it could work. Any specific pen needed?

I use Bay Photos Superior album-
it is a self mount album(but they do it.......don't do it!)
actual photographs-
I use sharpie black, silver and gold and supply them for them-
a 20 page/10 spread book with black cover and names/wedding date embossed-
about $150 bucks?
I know it is more than you would like to spend but I do get a lot of compliments on them-Perhaps for a future guest book

We use Shared Ink $49 for a 8x11 and I can usually convince them to upgrade to the 12x16 and get a good chunck once they see it and sell an additional two books to them for their parents as wedding gifts. I have found these engagement albums to be a very profitable and easy sale for little work.
