Has anybody designed an 80 spread 3 volume wedding album? The design is from a destination wedding. 1st Volume has the bridal shower, rehearsal dinner, and is 20 spreads. Volume 2 is 40 spreads, and has the wedding and reception. Volume 3 is their very special TTD session on a private island in Montego Bay with 20 spreads/

My questions are:
1. Does Graphi give breaks on this?
2. I'll need some sort of "sleeve" to put the set in...any ideas?
3. Best album vendors for the job? Graphii

I'd love to hear the biggest you've designed, and what challenges you overcame with how big it was.

Much Thanks

Dang Nick. That is crazy.

Zookbinders? I think they make multi volume sleeves...

Zookbinders can do this -- and make a custom slipcover for you. The slipcovers are quite pricey, though.

I've seen a slipcover from Leather Craftsman and I like it better than the Zook one. LC puts felt or something on the bottom to support the pages when they're standing upright on a shelf. Otherwise the pages will eventually fall down from the binding. That's why you're supposed to keep the albums flat.

The slipcovers from Zook don't have that so you still need to keep them stored flat.

They're custom-made to fit your album(s) so you don't need to worry about it not fitting perfectly.

all KISS books come with slip covers - and while they don't give breaks on pricing, you will be so damn happy with the results that it won't matter because their books kick ass!

Chelo and Adam...thanks for the lowdown...especially on the custom LC one...definitely going to check that out. Trevor...once KISS offers more cover options, I'll switch. I don't give options on sizes, but I do give options on covers. I do hear the print quality is top notch though.

Check out Bookcrafts. He will custom make anything for you.

i have designed an 80 page, and 82 page album. the first one was spilt into 2- 40 page books. went to art leather years ago. if i had to do this today, i'd send it to finao - and still keep the books to about 40 pages, max.

the other is going to zookbinders momentarily, as they will print up to 90 pages per volume.

i'm not sure i would trust the spine to any other book binder at that size. 80 pages is big. the next largest book i did was a 76 page zookbook.

they will also build you sleeves for each volume.

my $0.02.

Hey Belissima, that's what I was worried about...spread limits incase they want to condense. I checked out Finao a while back and am actually waiting on the samples now, really excited about those guys. Keith, I'll check into that...thanks man.
