It was pointed out to me by a friend that I am a PHOTOGRAPHER with a newly rennovated PHOTOGRAPHY studio, and I don't have any PHOTOS of it! LOL
So, I ran around with the camera this afternoon, and took a few el-quicko shots of the progress... we still have a bit to do here and there, and I didn't take any photos of the offices, because they are all in shambles since we just moved in this week, or the actual shooting room, because all of my idiot friends were in there playing poker, and didn't wanna NOT ruin a photo... but it at least gives ya an idea!

Bit more 'splanation:
Ok, the layout is funny, kinda... old buildings always are!
Down the long hall, there's another hall to the left at the end, then another itty bitty hall back to the right, and it opens, finally, into my 800 sq ft. shooting room! (And then another CRAZY room in the back, but we don't go in there very often. Nope.
The rooms you can see in the middle of the 2nd picture include our office manager's office, mine & Phil's joined office, the viewing room, and our kids' lounge room.

Thanks so much, everybody!!
The bricks: We discovered under the plaster... I thought they would be there, but we had no idea about what shape they'd be in, so it was a slow process, hoping the whole time that we wouldn't uncover any structural problems while we chiseled away at that OLD plaster. We just sort of let the big chunks fall off haphazardly until I stepped back and said STOP! Then we left it the heck alone, LOL!
There are actually 5 rooms in the building that have smaller exposed brick areas, and we'll prolly expand the exposed places as we go. I didn't wanna go overboard.
The story of how we bought the building is pretty neat, and wild... I was just randomly searching the local ILS realty listings website, and I saw this old brick building, in our historic down-town area, and the price was listed at $49,000.
All of the available buildings on the square are at least $100,000, even for smaller ones, so I figured that the price must be wrong. I called my realtor, and told her that I'd like to see the place, and that I thought they must have the price wrong on the listing. She said she'd ask the listing agent about the correct price and call me in a few hours. 30 minutes later, she called with the news, "Ben said that he debated with the sellers, and they decided that their bottom line price would HAVE to be $35,000..."
We put in an offer that day, and got the 2000sq ft building for $35,000. w00t!
