Ok, so I've noticed this for a while and should probably do something about it. I notice that when I upload to instaproofs my files are desaturated. I want my clients to see their online proofs as pretty as I see them on my screen.

When I blog, I change the mode to CMYK, and save for web. Should I have to do this with EVERY image I load to instaproofs as well?

Any help would be great...

Thanks!

lol, I am NOT a whiz when it comes to that sort of thing. I just tried it as sRGB, then as CMYK and I liked how it looked on the blog better as CMYK. I wonder why that is?
Hmmm...
So should I save my instaproofs files as srgb then?

Really?
Ok, so dumb question. I don't see how to switch to sRGB. Can you explain? Thanks for your help Jonathan!

Ok, so I went to Edit > Convert to Profile > Which one is the best to select?

Christine
Most monitors are set for sRGB, and most printers recommend that you send them files in sRGB.

I know Flickr tends to "eat" colors if they aren't sRGB.

So when making it sRGB I just go to Edit > Convert to Profile > select sRGB.
Is this correct?
I just want to make sure I am selecting the correct mode on the list it gives me.

Thank you!

THats right Jacque. sRGB is what you want.

I use instaproofs for my wedding stuff too & I really don't like what they look like as far as being all pixely, BUT I do have all my images as sRGB.
Mark T.
If they are pixely you need to upload higher res images. I use 900x900 images so the zoom tool works without the images falling apart.

Thanks Mark. I'll have to try that & see what they look like. I'm pretty sure mine are WAY WAY small!!!!!!
