Does anyone have a program they use for task management.
I have papers and post it notes EVERYWHERE and this is just not effective anymore. Are there any programs where I can add clients name, info and all the deadlines, etc. ?

I've used "Getting Things Done"
It interphases pretty well with Outlook

Bento is really handy for Mac users. smile.gif
Tracks your ical events, manages projects and expenses, helps you organize your contacts, keep track of everything. Pretty easy to learn too.

Hey Leah!
I'm working on a website that can help you track information like that!
I actually started originally creating it for myself, and soon realized that
other photographers could use it too and help stay organized, track clients and such, events, send reminders to themselves, etc.. smile.gif
It's not done yet, and I need photographers to test it out before I launch it!

Would you like to become an alpha tester??

Please let me know!!

Bento is really lame IMO. it's like a skin for your ical and address book that really isn't as customizable as it claims to be. Thats just my opinion though. It was the worst 50 bucks I ever spent.

I use ShootQ. While I'm still in the process of setting up my task management through ShootQ, it will automatically manage my entire workflow from first contact with a client to shooting the job to editing through album design, sales and financial reports. It's an incredibly powerful tool that does much more than just that, and I highly recommend it. And LaCour made it, so you know it's good!
