I had to share this videos with you all. My daughter, Alli, faithfully listens to WBGL Family Radio every day and she came to me the other day saying she loved this song she heard called "Cinderella" and if you know anything about my daughter, Alli, she is the last person on Earth that would love anything Cinderella. So, of course, I had to hear this song.
Well, a bucket of tears later led me to this video on You Tube of Steven Curtis Chapman; the artist who sings this song. I, believe,Kenny Kim, invited Bob and I to a concert of his several months back but I didn't know much about this artist and we were busy that evening and we didn't attend. Now, that I see this video, I'm so sorry that we missed this concert. Kenny, next time we will clear our schedules.... I promise!
I am so impressed with this man and his beliefs. He is an adoptive parent too as of course that is so inspiring to us! I just wanted to share this video on Facebook with you all. ENJOY!
Bob & Dawn...Steven Curtis Chapman has been such a staple in the Christian Music industry for years. His songs are "epics" more than songs. So much drama and vibrance in his music. We are blessed to have such talent n this earth. I've heard that song at almost every wedding the last few months and it still wets my eyes.

I blogged about this powerful song after hearing it for the first time a couple months ago. Gifted the song through iTunes to the first five respondents thanks to Carey's brilliant idea in another post!
This song is great on so many levels! A much needed reminder of the brevity of my time with my sweet children at home. Steven Curtis Chapman has used his gift of songwriting and singing to bless and remind others of the amazing gift of children in the home.
Kind of similar to what we do as photographers too, right? Only with our cameras instead of guitars!

I can hardly get through this song without welling up - and my daughter is only 5!!!
I've been a fan of SCC for YEARS - whether he's singing a ballad such as this or an upbeat "pop" song that just makes your heart SING, he's fantastic!
All the best, Roxanne

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The 5-year-old daughter of Grammy-winning Christian music star Steven Curtis Chapman was struck and killed Wednesday by a sport utility vehicle driven by her brother, authorities said. The girl, Maria, was hit in the driveway of the family's home Wednesday afternoon by a Toyota Land Cruiser driven by her teenage brother, said Laura McPherson, a spokeswoman for the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
The brother, whose name and exact age weren't available, apparently did not see the girl, McPherson said. No charges are expected.
"It looks like a tragic accident," she said.
Several family members witnessed the accident, which happened in Williamson County just south of Nashville. The girl died later at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, hospital spokeswoman Laurie Holloway said.
A publicist for Chapman's charity organization said the family was expected to release a statement later Wednesday night.
Chapman, who is originally from Paducah, Ky., and his wife have promoted international adoption and have three daughters from China, including Maria. They have three biological children.
The singer's Web site says the couple was persuaded by their oldest daughter to adopt a girl from China. The experience led the family to adopt two more children and create Shaohannah's Hope, a foundation and ministry to financially assist thousands of couples in adoption.
The Chapmans did missionary work at Chinese orphanages in 2006 and 2007, according to the Web site.
"After our first trip to China, my wife and I knew our lives were changing — our eyes and hearts were opening to how big God really is, and we have wanted to experience more of that," Chapman says on the Web site.
"We've really wondered whether or not we should just go to China and stay there. But I don't think so. I believe God is saying, 'I want you to go, get your heart broken, your eyes opened, and then take this story back to the church in America and around the world.'"
The 45-year-old singer also has released a book about being a father entitled "Cinderella: The Love of Daddy and his Princess."
