I've been searching high and low, but have been able to find ANY information about using metadata on an image. Here's what I'm looking to do.

In Lightroom, we use the IPTC Status Title field to name each image. When we send the images to PS we include that field in the file naming.

I'd like to be able to create an action that will create a border (got that part already) and then insert that same Title field on each one of the images from that session. Currently we use an action that does everything except actually inserting the text, but I've been thinking lately that there just HAS to be a way to have it done automatically.

Any ideas?
