Full Version: Nikon Equipment Cleaning and Demo-Boston May 2nd & 3rd
OpenSourcePhoto > YA wanna FIGHT! > Canon and Nikon
Brea
I just wanted to share this with all the Nikon Users out there. Feel free to e-mail me for all the details but here is the basic info.

Important to RSVP! acahill@nikon.net or 914-643-5803

NPS members (and those interested in becoming NPS members) are invited to a FREE equipment cleaning event in Boston. I will also be available both days to answer any equipment questions and also demonstrate/show the latest cameras (D3, D300, D60) and lenses including the 24-70mm f2.8G ED lens, 14-24mm f2.8G ED lens, 24mm PC-E f3.5D ED lens and 16-85mm f3.5-5.6G ED VR lenses.

The Sheraton Boston Hotel is located about 1.5 miles from Fenway Park and is connected to the Prudential Center (near Copley Place Mall) so there is plenty of public parking in the neighborhood besides the valet parking at the hotel.
The conference room will be on the 5th Floor in between the North and South Tower elevators so you can take either set of elevators. The room location will be posted in the lobby and also on a sign once you get off the 5th Floor elevator.

We will have 2 technicians available for equipment cleaning. Please note to bring only the gear that you use on a daily basis. If you have a question about a minor repair or older gear you’d like to know if we can clean/fix, just email me ahead of time.

If you can attend, please let me know which day you think you’d attend – Friday May 2 and/or Saturday May 3.

Also please let me know if you are interested in learning about Nikon Software (Capture NX, Capture Camera Control) or the WT-4a Wireless Transmitter.

Looking forward to seeing you!

Anne,

Do you have a schedule of when this may be offered in other areas. I live the Minneapolis area and would deffinetly come if it was offered in my area.

Hi Brea,

Thanks for letting us know, I do not have my NPS yet, waiting for a friend to sponsor me. Do I need the NPS to attend?

If I had the chance to go, I think that I would really be interested in looking at Camera Control and the new Wireless Transmitter.

Thanks
Bernard

Duke- E-mail Anne directly and she can guide you to what will be in your area. I am not sure of the schedule for these events.

Bernard- I don't think you need to be a member to take advantage of this. Anne is great so send her an e-mail and come!
