Hi, I'm looking at using the Asuka books for a guest book, I'm just wondering if anyone else does this, and if they have any recomendations on which book to use, and which paper is best for having guests write on, or if I should use a different company for the guest book, I'm looking at having about 30 pages in it.
Thanks,
Heather

We have used Asuka for a guestbook and the clients LOVED it. We did a 10x10 Bookbound EX (I think that's what it's called) and just recommended that the clients use a sharpie to write in the book. It was a huge hit - the clients loved it and the guests were oohing and aahing over it too. smile.gif So much better than that standard lined book that only ever fills the first few pages!

Only advice (which is obvious, I suppose!) is just to keep the design simple so people have room to write. We wrote in a bunch of questions, one for each page, to prompt folks: When did you know that Jimmy and Holly were in love? Give us a recommendation for date night. What I love most about Jimmy is...etc.

Have fun!
- Chris

I love the Asuka Stitchbound Matte page 28 page book in 7x10. My clients have loved them!! The stitchbound lie flatter than the other Asuka books, and the mate paper is perfect!!!

I've used the Vision Art Book as a guest book. It's been a huge success.

I use the coffee table book from White Wedding Albums in matte ink jet and they look really nice. Colors are nice and saturated and I get them very quickly. They are wonderful there.

Hi Shawn,

I only see Asuka's stitchbound books in varnish or laminate. Where do I find matte?

Thanks,
Jenny

Ditto here! I carry their 8X6 and 12X9 Horizontal books. They are made in about ten day or so.

It's the varnish that you will want to use. I use this exact one and it's great! I love how the pages are a little thicker then the normal books.
