Anyone else having issues with clients returning 5x5 Willowbooks because the pages are coming out of the binding? I am going to have to order 2 books this week to replace books ordered in just the past 3 or 4 months. I'm hoping I just got a couple of bad runs because those little books are the only reason I stay with Pictage.

Pam,

Many companies are jumping onto the "coffee table book" bandwagon these days... so it's very important to work with one who has a solid track record. I'd suggest taking a look at Miller's Professional Imaging, AsukaBook, LeatherCraftsmen and PictoBook -- all of which produce fine products.

I found the Pictage 5x5 and 7x7 books to be VERY expensive for what you get... and our clients thought so too. Most were underwhelmed.

As a point of reference... for considerable less cost to your studio (and subsequently to your clients), you could provide a similar styled book with LARGER pages/images using Miller's. Or if your client really likes the 5x5 size, you could go small as well with any of the companies I mentioned -- and the quality is superb.

Best of luck,
David

Hi David: I have not been able to find these books at this price anywhere. Remember, they have 100 pages in them. If you have an option that is as reasonable, Please PM me or email me with the details. I could sure use it. Thanks for responding and I REALLY appreciate the help.

Hey there Pam,
Just wanted to let you know that Pictage will replace those books free of charge. Just go to: http://redo.pictage.com and fill out the form. If its been more than 45 days, you'll have to call 1-877-PICTAGE.

Sorry to hear about the binding problems - as you said, it may have been a bad batch. I've ordered a lot of these little books for my clients, and i haven't encountered any pages falling out.....

Take care,
Laura

We sure have. I am a little stressed because clients have pre-ordered the 5x5 albums for some upcoming weddings. I would love to order them elsewhere if anyone has a suggestion, simply because I don't trust the quality of them.

We had to do a redo on a 5x5 and honestly it doesn't look like it is going to hold any better.

I just had a bride tell be that her Willowbook proofbooks have pages falling out. They are 8X11 with 86 pages each. They are redoing them. I think I canceled my Pictage account just in time.
Pam
More than a little worried here guys. I have multiple little books with a lot of weddings this season. AHHHHH! I hope they turn out okay.

Are you guys having trouble with the 5x5 coffee table books or the 5x5 willowbook leather albums (or both)?
