How long has it typically been taking to receive these slideshows on DVD? I am about 5 days from ordering my first one... I would like to have an apx. delivery date so I can schedule the rest of my stuff for this wedding?

Any help much appreciated!

For me, it has been anywhere from one week to three weeks- it doesn't really seem to be consistent.

Tawnya, given that, what timeframe do you give to your clients?

Thanks for the reply Tawnya! I didn't know you were on here! Are you still doing many OpLove sessions?

Hey Tonee smile.gif - The DVD's usually ship within a week and then depending on the type of shipping selected it can take anywhere from 1 day to another week for it to arrive.

For some reason this past week we had a mad rush so I imagine things are running a bit behind so I apologize for that.

Boy Tonee, Tana and Tawnya....could you imagine if we all lived in the same house smile.gifI usually tell them 4-6 weeks. For a while there, I felt like the turn around time was so inconsistant, that I was afraid to tell them anything else. My first order ever came pretty fast, after that, it seemed to be random, but my last DVD came quick too......so I just say that to be safe and that way if anything comes up on my side I am covered- and who doesn't LOVE getting somethign early. thumbsup.gif PS DJ- the hecho or made in Mexico stickers are still on there-

Theres a made in Mexico sticker on them?? Is it easily removable?? and where do they stick it?

I think no calls are good calls sorta like NILMDTS, cause that means no one is deploying from your area biggrin.gif Nice to see you!

Oh yes- the sticker is super small- and not hard to take off, the other sticker that used to be on the box, was not so easy. But the made in Mexico box (super small) smile.gif I just know that DJ said he HATES things that come with stickers on them. No worries though.

Haha, I didn't even catch that! Too funny.

Sort of sounds like my family: we have an Ariana, Anna, Hannah, Tana and Tonya. wink.gif Clever bunch, that clan of mine!!

While this story is in NO WAY DJ's fault...USPS just sucks.

I just ordered 5 DVDs at the same time (different orders)...ok, the production time is NOT where I have an issue.

2 of the orders (3 DVDs) where packaged and shipped together. The tracking for usps sucks also.

I received those end of last week.

2 other DVDs (same show, separate order BUT SHIPPED ON THE SAME DATE AS THE OTHERS) Still have not arrived.

When tracking IS updated (rarely) this is the scenario:

Phoenix shipped
about a week to get to Atlanta sits in Atlanta for 3 days!!!
it is then shipped from Atanta to Memphis
sits in Memphis for 3 days!!!

I have no idea where it is.

I live in Montgomery, AL...that is about 3 hours from Atlanta (2.5 or so). This is the routine. It is not DJ's fault but the sucky USPS. I cannot imagine how they get anything done.

They must be choosing the least logical route to get from Atlanta to Montgomery. Careless employees who really don't care. When you call them, they do not have an answer. Nor do they really care. Secure jobs and a worthless attitude.

I could have DRIVEN to ATLANTA AND PICKED THEM UP (if that were possible) AND HAD THEM LAST WEEK.

The USPS is the perfect example how NOT to run a business.

Hey Darrell sad.gif I'm sorry to hear that. What a bummer and I think USPS is quickly becoming the next cell phone company or maybe the next airline! Ya can't win with'em and ya can't win without'em.

Thanks for letting us know and we'll see if there's something we can do on our end to make sure the DVD's get to you sooner.

All the best,
DJ

Well, my dvd order is now BACK in Atlanta. Here is the actual shipping fiasco:

Electronic Shipping Info Received, April 02, 2008

Perhaps if I wait long enough it can go through Sheboygan, WS for a few days.

Thanks for the reply DJ. I am aware this is NOT an issue you control at all. I just cannot believe the USPS is so incompetent.
