So, i'm blog-stalking a few sites this afternoon (while I should be working) and hit up Jasmine Star's blog. She had a post about having 1 million visitors to her blog is less than a year! That's incredible.

My question is... How da heck do you get the word out for people to visit your blog? I mean, her work is incredible, as are a lot of other big names out there (Becker, Colon, etc.)

How do you go from 5-10 visitors a day, with little interaction (like I'm doing now) to hundreds, if not thousands of people per day? (not that I want THAT many, but an increase in traffic would be nice!)

Any ideas? :-)

One good way that I have found is to "digitally network" by visiting and COMMENTING on other people's blogs. When you submit your comment, always make sure that your name, email and link to your blog/site are included in the comment form. Most blogs have fields to type in that info now.

I also like to inform my clients that their sessions will be displayed, in part, up on my blog. Then they usually end up sharing the link with family and friends, which leads to more traffic. wink.gif

Hope that helps ya. biggrin.gif

That's the $64,000 question.

In Jasmine's case - I think she got a lot of help from her 'network'. DJ, and a bunch of others knew her, and blogged about her when she just got started.

Create a network and use it!
