I have creating my "look" for weddings. I am not sure if I should keep the same look for all my photography, or just for weddings. Should I create a new look for my portraits?
I want to keep everything under "Jamie Lee Photography".

What is your opinion?
I have two different websites, one for portraits and one for weddings. Both are under www.jamieleephotography.com.

Could you describe a little more by what you mean by "look?" Are talking about totally different branding/logos etc? Or different color schemes? Or maybe different styles of photography?

I've often thought about using the same logo/branding for weddings/portraits but mixing up the color scheme a little through accent colors etc.

I guess it depends on if you want unity or not throught the two sides of your business. For example, do I want my wedding customers to easily recognize me through my brand when choosing family photographers? Or do I want to keep the two separate and market to different customers?

Just some thoughts.

i had 3 sites going at once. one for weddings/portraits one for commercial work and one for fine art.

i found it was too confusing on people so i got a new site and consolidated everything but fine art onto one site - i'm not sure if that was the right move, but i'm glad i did it. i have been concentrating so much on everything but weddings, that site was feeling neglected!

i cater to a different type of clientelle as well so i'm not too bothered who sees my nude work, etc.

my next site will be a folio site and i will only have one, i plan on dumping all my blu sites and consolidate into just one really nice one.

hope that helps?

I want my wedding clients to recognize my portraits and visa versa.
I just look at my branding for my weddings and don't think it fits "portraits".
It looks to me more elegant and feminine.

I wanted something more natural for my portraits. Since most of my portraits are on the beach.

Maybe if I kept the same colors but different pattern.

Here is my wedding theme...
