I was visiting my brother-in-law today and out on his back fence is a slowly degenerating passionfruit vine- it does look quite sad. However, my eye was struck by a lone passionfruit flower on this vine- I'd never seen one before, let alone even knew how amazingly beautiful they are! I am repeatedly in awe at what God has created and was blessed to have captured this busy buzzy bee in action. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did! (I was also surprised at that my kit lens was able to take this shot on MF! biggrin.gif )

That is funny!! I love bees, we can go bee hunting together. I haven't been stung... yet, so my opinion of them might change! Yes! Post your Bee pics!! We went for a drive to Cape Shank this arvo. I love it there, so peaceful and rugged at the same time. Although, not so good for photos. I never gut much success there as the cliffs cast too many shadows. And...no bees there.... biggrin.gif

I like bees and bee photos. That's one I took for a newspaper I worked at prior to budget cuts/staff reduction. I had to sit really still for that one and I'm surprised I wasn't stun as they are on their box home in an orchard. I've been stung twice, on the same day, within 5 minutes of one another in terms of time, at least I know I'm not allergic.

Thanks for sharing your photo and inspiring me to look for bees in flowers in the future.

I'll have to post some when I get into the studio to download them. I'm a bit scared of them though, If they move and buzz around my head a little bit, I scream, jump and run away smile.gif Stuart laughs at me. rolleyes.gif

Wow, that's a lot of bees. Yeah, they are such interesting subjects to watch. I really love seeing them at work buzzing around flowers. You are brave to cop all the stings and still desire to take more bee photos!
Thanks for sharing.

That's cool K!! What a beautiful coloured flower. Here's another one I took last Friday when I went to the Flower and Garden Show in the city with my parents. This bee was particularly busy and didn't want to stop to pose for a photo mad.gif . It took a while to get him still enough! I'm not too scared of them, which could be a problem. It'd be funny watching you scream and jump around away from the bees! I'd join Stu in laughing at you! Maybe he should take a photo of you jumping away from the bees! laughing.gif
