This is probably the first of several pleas for help here! Alright, recently bought my Canon and was playing with tthe nifty Picture styles, just experimenting in RAW. Im camera, everything shows up, but when I pull them into Bridge, it looks like my picture settings aren't in existence. Am I doing something wrong?
For instance, when I threw it into Monochrome, my LCD shows up B&W, but in Bridge, the file is still in color...? Thanks in advance....

Greetings.
Picture styles only apply to jpg / processed images.
Raw files are the original untouched complete files so you would not want the raw file messed with.
If you change your file capture settings to jpg+ raw (both)
You will have a jpg with the picture style and the raw file, but you will
have a full memory card very quickly.
There may be uses for the picture styles, but I would suggest adding them in the DPP canon software or better yet, shoot raw and apply your settings in bridge or lightrooom and forget the styles.

Canon won't share the secret picture style tags with Adobe, so the RAW converters in Photoshop and LR won't keep your camera settings.
If you want the RAW files to come up with the styles then you have to use the Canon Software. Or shoot JPG.
If you're shooting RAW then the pictures styles and WB are important, but only insofar as they help you see that you're getting what you want when you review on the camera LCD.
You can set up and apply presets in Bridge (aka DJ's Brilliant presets) and get a similar effect. DJ posted a video tutorial on how to make your own Bridge presets on the Showitfast.com website.
Hope that helps.
