When posting your work for critique, most of the togs on this forum and international forums only post photos of the brides preparations and the couple photo shoot. I hardly see any decor or reception photos. Why is this?
We cover the whole wedding and when we post, we should surely submit photos representitive of the whole day. Is it that our reception photos are not as good or what? Lets put a challenge out there to put more evening shots on this forum. This forum is for bettering all our work is'nt it?
Your thoughts and comments are welcome.

Tyler,
i'm not saying non of us post the reception and decor shots - just saying most of us aren't.
And from what I have seen in the threads you highlighted, I think we are producing good stuff, but for some reason the norm is just to post the formals and prep shots with one or two of the other stuff. I think we should post a good respresentation of each part of the day, like that french wedding (Emmanuel) - he's stuff is really good - hope i can meet him when I am in London at the end of the month.
Oh, by the way, the second thread is mine....

sorry! I loved your photos.
From my experience people do post views of the entire wedding day- but I could be wrong.

Wow - amazing what a catchy title to a thread can do to get some reaction. Debate is healthy and you guys have certainly proved my point wrong. But please help promoting the posting of these "bad" photos - i love them.

i like bad photos, also. they help us learn.
however one post does not prove you wrong. most people post the perfect shots. I love the ceremony, and I love the action and spontaneity of the day.

Hey thanks, Chelo! I never really thought I did anything unique, I just click what I see. Of course, it IS pretty unique to see someone with an orange wig staring at a bride and groom like THEY are the weird ones, right??

Stefan, I have no idea. That was completely unscripted and unplanned, and I think it is really geeky.
