I'm so excited!!! We're starting out with my music and the music of good friends who are all incredibly talented musicians, but we will be growing as more and more musicians are contacting me wanting to make their music available as well.

You probably know this already, but it plays multiple songs at the same time. It doesn't stop the current song and play the next when you switch over.

You're right Matt, and we will be recoding the flash player over the next few weeks to recognize when you click on a new song. But for now you can click stop on the player before you listen to the next song.

I'm not going to put my full energy into that for about a month, as we still have some major features we're going to be adding over the next few weeks, but I will be very open to including more musicians. ok, I'm missing something...
I keep trying to listen, and nothing happens.
I just scared the crap out of myself because I thought maybe my speakers were down, so I reached over & cranked it up then an IM came in and blew me out of my chair

I'm on firefox, and whenever I press the "listen" button, it looks like a little bar goes across the bottom of the button, it switches to "stop", but no music

Any tips for me? I wanna hear the music!

I'm not sure Carey. It works for me in Firefox. Maybe try closing your browser and emptying the cache and trying again? I'd love for you to be able to hear the music!

hmm... I don't know what it is.
I tried safari for windows, same thing.
But ie works!!! yay!!
I just hate ie. I'm ticked that it's the browser of choice for your music oh well. at least I can hear it!

I guess it's just the universe flicking loogies at me or something...seems to be happening a lot this week. grrrr

I'll talk to my developer tomorrow Carey. I sure don't want you to be limited to the browser you hate. I'm on Mac, and it works in both Firefox and Safari for me, but my developer is on PC so I'll have him do some more testing.

I believe we figured out the issue and have resolved it with the Firefox and Safari on Windows. Hope its work for you now in your preferred browser!!

Shawn do you think the new song will be available while the promo is still going?

I'm going to try and have the song up on the site in the next couple of days, but this is dependent on my web guy who builds the flash player for the music clips on the site, and I'm still waiting on the song to get back from being mastered. Once the song is up it will have a "just added" 50% off promo for a week though, so hopefully this'll help.

Great web site! But I can't listen to music in FF on Windows. The issue is still there.

Thanks for letting me know Alex. The issue I was told is that for some reason on FF or Safari for windows, it won't play if there's more than 15 flash players open at 1 time. So my site has 12 per page, which means if other windows are open to other web pages, that maybe have flash players open it could put the # over 15.

I wonder if it'll work if no other windows are open? I'm not on PC and on my mac it plays no matter how many windows or flash players are open.

I will pass this info along to my web guy. Thanks so much.

Also, it would be nice to have items sorted alphabetically in search drop downs.

Under IE on Windows, when I click to listen, it will start playing immediately for a split of a sec, and then stops until the song is loaded in a buffer (I can see the progress line).
