I have been using CS3 to pp my images for sometime and I am totally consumed in editing and have come to the point where I now dread the post processing.

Soooo... I joined the bandwagon and installed lightroom, and now I am so stinkin lost. I feel like I'm starting over again.

Does anyone have a link to a tutorial showing how to quickly "get" this program, or any advice on how to use it efficiently??

Scott Kelby's book is (imo) an excellent and thorough resource for learning all of Lightroom. And lightroomkillertips.com/ has lots of little tips and tricks, some in video format.

Lightroom can look a bit overwhelming at first but it's really so easy to pick up...no worries!

Kevin Kubota has a dvd called lightroom workflow. It will have you up to speed in no time.
