I am needing to get some more memory cards. I prefer 8g, anyone know of a good deal out there?
Thanks!

I don't have and specific card recommendations, but I've had good experieces with RiData and Kingston, which are lower priced than Lexar and Sandisk.

www.meritline.com has good deals.

There is a rebate on Lexar cards at B&H and Calumet. Good until the end of April.

Today someone just posted a link to the Transcend 133x 8gb cards at newegg for 35 a piece. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16820208340

Wow that is a great deal! I am going to give that a try. I hate the rebate thing because I never end up sending it in, I am the one they love! So unless it is immediate it is not worth it for me. I got a few from Buy Dig Scan Disk 8g a month or so ago for $69 and I am kicking myself I didn't get a couple more at this point! Oh well live and learn:(

Heh i just bought one today as well. The transcend cards are really quite well built. I haven't had a problem with one yet.

Well the rebate thing is sad I guess. But if I were you I would get the SanDisk Extreme III cards from BH and actually send in the rebate. You can pick up 2 for $100 total and have super reliable cards that are fast and come with recovery software. That is the best way to go in my opinion.

They aren't bad,but the speed they claim their cards to run at are much slower.
