Just curious if anyone knows of any workshops that have a serious business bent. It does not have to be strictly business oriented, but is there one or two, or three out there that you would suggest? Ones that give very real, very specific information on running the business end? From pricing to finding a good accountant, from paying your sales tax to how to keep accurate records. All that stuff that no one taught me in art school!

I have thousands of questions and am looking to possibly invest in such a workshop if it exists.

It's so crazy to me that they don't require that when people are getting art degrees, I just don't get it. I decided during the 2nd year of college that I wanted to be a photographer, looked into switching majors, and am SO happy that I decided to get a marketing degree instead.

Yep. Lianna is a complete rockstar! I've been and it is an outstanding workshop. All of the information is incredible and you come out of the workshop already having put the systems and tools you need in place. GO!

Thanks Paige! I am really trying to make it work! It looks like her two sessions for this year (April and August) are not going to fit my schedule...

I hope she adds some more sessions for after August!

I just got an email on this today, so it is fresh on my mind! Jules Bianchi is teaming up with Adam Lopez to offer a business oriented seminar:

It feels funny telling about our Bebbinars, but we have a major business component in each Bebbinar. I don't want to give away all the secrets, but I can tell you this much: you will not only run your business smarter, you will actually get your personal life back as well.

If you have any questions at all, we are more than happy to answer them! And maybe one of our dates would work with your schedule.

We hosted Liana's business workshop last July and it was absolutely educational, practical, and she's one smart cookie. One of the best workshops out there! (and we've been to more than a handful!) I would take it again smile.gif

Hey thanks everyone for the props... I LOVE teaching these because they're such a small group and it's really like leaving summer camp the last day *so sad*.

Anyhow... to answer your question... yes, I will be planning/scheduling more for the fall/off season ... maybe I should schedule them sooner than later. LOL. Any suggestions on dates / locations???

(I travel if enough want to come from one location and there's a willing host)... did one in Seattle earlier this year and it was great.

Hey thanks for the plug on Jules' workshop! It sounds like there are a lot of great ideas here... Jules' workshop helps to integrate the opposing worlds of photography and finance....
