Full Version: What's a D200 worth these days??

So I've been thinking I should sell my D200, but as the market is a bit flooded with them right now I'm having a bit of a hard time determining a good price.

It has about 34k clicks and is in really great condition. We've treated it very nicely and if my sweet hubby hadn't got me the D3 for valentine's day wub.gif, we wouldn't be selling it at all. All the original accessories, but I don't think we kept the box. The sync cap and the remote cap fell off someplace, and I've thought about picking up replacement ones or just giving a discount so someone could get their own.

We also have a grip and 3 extra batteries for it.

any ideas what a D200 like that is worth now?

I've considered pairing it with our 18-200vr as a consumer set and selling the grip seperately, or selling it with the grip and maybe selling the lens seperately...

Any advice from those selling or sold (or offers from buyers) would be great. wink.gif

Thanks!

I looked on ebay today and they are selling in the 800- 900 range.

I agree, check ebay for the next few days, watch some auctions and see what they finish at.

Or just search "Completed Items" (in Advanced Search) to see what things sold for recently. Then you don't have to wait a few days!

Outside of Ebay all the prices that I have seen both on this forum and elsewhere (including local shops) are in the $800-900 range, while almost always on the higher end.

Ohh good tip! I'm not much of an ebayer so that's nice to know!

Are you interested in selling the 18-200 vr seperately? Id be interested in the lens. PM me if you are. Thanks
