The subject field says it all.

Ever since I installed Lightroom 1.3 it automatically launches whenever I insert a specific flash drive. What could be causing this?

Thank you!

It may be the Adobe photo downloader tool. It used to happen on my laptop until I took measures against that program. I think I wound up removing it from my startup...I don't recall if it was a registry thing, or if I took something out of the "Startup" folder.

Hopefully this gives you the clue you need to fix that annoying problem.

In your LR preferences, is "Show import dialog when a memory card is detected" checked?

Just a thought. If it's a flash drive though it might be something in the autoplay setup in the OS (that window that pops up on a PC when you put in a drive and it asks you what you want to do and gives you the option of "always do this with this type of file" or whatever that window says).

On the PC - the program, Adobe Photo Downloader, sits in your system tray. Right mouse click on the icon and disable - that will stop the auto-launch of LR...

Yup, try the suggestions above and that should solve it for you.
