My husband (Dn Gregory) already an ordained deacon in the Orthodox Church has just sent in his letter to his bishop petitioning for ordination to the priesthood! Looks like it might happen on Ascension (in June for us this year!).

We won't have a parish, he'll still shoot with me (nothing there changes) but it looks like he might be given some work working with the Orthodox students at Notre Dame and he's also looking at perhaps becoming a chaplain in the Air National Guard.

So, I'm looking at becoming a Matushka (Russian word for priest's wife) and a Military Wife all in one shot!
