professional looking online galleries with print and proof order fulfillment without charging comissions? (just a monthly fee)

I guess I want it all!

If not, anyone want to invent one? I'll buy!

Hmmm...no one.

Too bad for me.

Can anyone tell me if pictage will allow clients to choose (say 200) proofs online as part of a packge, so that there is no charge to the client?

Jennifer, why not just set it all up and do it yourself? It's a little work in the beginning, but once set up, your own galleries would be easy enough to maintain, and you have full control.

Plus, fulfilling orders really doesn't take that much work. I've watched Robin fulfill plenty of Orders that are done through WHCC, and it is pretty fast. And all the profits are yours.

I really doubt if there is a company that will do it all for you without taking a commission. Maybe there is, but I don't know of one.

You know Bruce...I've been doing my own order fulfilling, and I hate it. Not so much the prints, but the 200 proofs kills me.
I'd love to have the customer just order them, and the order get sent directly to the lab, and drop shipped to the client.
I just don't know of anyone who does that.

I'd just like to free up more of my time, to spend with the family.

Hey Jennifer,

I found this and I am looking into it. It is called www.showmeproofs.com.
I did the test and it seems to work and the entire system is FREE.

Let me know what you think!!

Hi Jennifer-

If you are using Pictage, the best way to do this, I think, is to have your client choose the 200 images and put them in a folder and email you when they are done. Then you can go in and order by the folder the proof prints and have them shipped to the client directly.

This is the only way I can think of where there would be no charge to the client.

Hope this helps!

Like she says, you have to do the order yourself as a photographer.

I honestly don't think you are going to find a company that would do that without charging something to do the fulfillment. What you pay monthly is to cover hosting and the fee you pay is to cover fulfillment, CC processing and whatever else they want to charge you for. For what you want to do, the CC fee should not apply, and that is where Jessica suggestion comes in. But under Pictage, you will be paying $99 a month for them to do what you hate so much. I personally don't think is a real solution for what you want.

Wish you luck and if you find something don't forget to share it.
