Hello OSP,
I'd like to have a 4' x 8' print made for the wall of our youth room at church. There are plenty of expensive options, but I don't really want to spend a fortune because the room gets a lot of activity (tossing footballs, horsing around, etc.), along with AA meetings and social events, so I'd rather go with more of a poster than a custom canvas print. Any ideas where to have this done? Thanks!

We are starting to offer large format prints in any paper you want for photographers and artists. The largest I can go is 44" wide by any length. Let me know if this helps.

Have you considered a silver-based print?
I know that Chromira has a 50" printer available.
Durst/laamda probably does as well.

Large Format Posters can do this. We have had sports posters printed by them and they did a nice job.

Thanks for the suggestions! The remodel of the room for the large print is on hold, so it looks like I've got plenty of time to make a decision.

The Large Format Posters URL is for sale. Did they change the name?

No, I just checked it and I must have typed it in wrong. Here is the correct link: Large Format Posters

Sorry about that.

$9/sq ft at http://www.elcocolor.com/FineArt_Vinyl.html

That's on Vinyl... if you want photo paper it's $8/sq.

They have a 60" Canon... so printing big isn't a problem. smile.gif

I use them for all my album prints and they rock.. but I use traditional prints.. but I'm sure their inkjet service is just as good.
