i found this forum as a result of finding Showit Fast - this is such a wonderful resource! as a result of Showit Fast, i started wondering about music - and asked a question which referred me here, where there was a great discussion about music and copyrights, and all that stuff.

anyway - enough background...

i thought i'd let you know about a website for unsigned artists.

you have to really look (listen ) to a lot of bad stuff to find what you want, but there is some good stuff there. and giving these unknown artists some free 'press' would probably be welcomed. there are licenses for some music which let you use it as long as you provide credit.

this seems to be a pretty wise group, so maybe this is old news. i just find the whole debate about the music thing interresting - especially since i had some work used without any payment or credit. as far as i'm concerned, if they would have left my tiny copyright in the corner of the picture, i would have been thrilled.
