A friend sent this link to me, I had no idea what Zeitgeist was.....so
I spend 2 hours of my life watching this video,
Then I looked around a little more on the site and found that
this is a movement, and that this movie is going to be played all
over the world on March 15, 2008,
Zeitgeist The Movie

Anyone here involved in this movement.....just curious to know
what you think.

I don't agree with everything the film espouses, but I am glad that these types of things are being questioned. I actually think the film does a poor job presenting its subject matter because they don't source their material in most cases -- even when there are sources readily available (that the general public may or may not be aware of). I didn't like the first part in particular because I think if you're going to say Jesus was influenced by something it would be Mithraism and not Kemeticism, and even then that's subjective and beside the point.

What were your thoughts?

Hope, I didn't watch the video but I did notice there was a 'Source' link at the bottom. Maybe that is what you were looking for?

I don't agree with the first half which tried to convince the viewer that the Christian
religion was a plagerism from the Egyptians, but what I found interesting is the
1 world government issue, but like you said....I don't think it was presented very
well.

Oh yeah, I saw that, but I meant sources in kind of the academic sense. If you presented a paper to your professor in college and half your sources were by Joseph Campbell and books titled, "The Christ Conspiracy," you'd get a D at best. And when they have sources like that which are obviously not unbiased or factual in nature, it makes the sources they do have which are legitimate look less valid.

The KKK supported George H. Bush's candidacy, but I don't think that means he was part of the KKK. There are always going to be people your or I find weird or extreme or just plain wrong who pledge their support to any number of presidential candidates. *shrugs* I think they should keep their political jockeying off that page, the same way I think certain African American supremicists should keep Obama's name off their websites, but I don't let that color my perception of the candidate himself.

Yes....I think they like the fact that Ron Paul isn't owned by corporations, he is opposed to the North American Union, he want's to END THE INCOME TAX AND ABOLISH THE IRS, and He actually proposed legislation to ABOLISH THE FEDERAL RESERVE....
which are all things that this movie speaks against......
