For those who still have CompUSA on liquidation, be very careful. The store is selling products as new but that are really damage. They are ripping off people left and right under the guise of liquidation of new merchandise.

I bought a sealed .MAC Family Pack yesterday, during their liquidation sale just to find out that the activation number was used already. Apple won't do anything about it even showing them that I legally bought a the box.

So, beware... don't get ripped off.

Go back to CompUSA with it and explain the problem; they *might* do something about it. I bought something, and I can't remember what it was now (it's been like 8 months), but about the same thing happened, and they took it back...

I did. And fortunately they did spite a big sign that said "All sales are finals. No refunds no exchange." I got a .MAC Family Pack for $33. What a deal!

Wow, that is a good deal. I need some new blank DVDs as well. Maybe I will go check out our local CompUSA tomorrow and see if they have anything left.
