Hi there. I use WHCC and they are great but I also use instaproofs for my sales and proofing and I feel like I am just loosing too much money doing both of them. Can you help me out?!! What do you use for proofing so I dont have to give 35% of the profits right away!! wacko.gif

Hey Dawn:

Are you talking about printing proofs, or are you asking about online proofing? Or both...

I can definately help out!

I am talking about online proofing. I use to use instaproofs and whcc but I would loose 35% per order doing it like that. I am still new so I dont want to use pictage, not consistent enough yet.

I have a free online proofing / ordering system, and a pro system.

It works well for lots of people:

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!

I use Collages.net for my online proof sites. I think they are still on the upper end of the cut by taking a 15% service charge. But their websites are really nice and have a huge selection of music. I choose to fulfill all my own orders, but you can have them be your lab, or you can choose your own lab (I think), so you should be able to stick with WHCC. There was another thread about this awhile back with a lot of different suggestions for various vendors. I almost switched to one that took less of a cut. But then I had two clients comment about the Collages.net slideshow with music - how they played it and played it and it made them weep. Crying = higher sales, so I stayed with Collages. smile.gif

Oh, and it's only $9 per use. They have monthly usage plans, but I'm not consitant enough either.

Ok cool!

That makes more sense!

You'll see a range of replies on here...personally, we purchased the Skooks Kart -- the price is right, it looks great, and it eliminted the 18% that we were losing using PhotoReflect. We pay $5 per month for a credit card terminal here in our office, and I just enter the card number myself. We have increased our profitability quite a lot thanks to our Skooks Kart!

Some other folks on here swear by the PickPic system. You might look into that as well.

We use Pictage, and we LOVE working with them. You'll definitely encounter a wide variety of opinions and thoughts on the matter, but for us, Pictage works the best! It's so awesome to just get to sit back and relax while someone else takes care of that part of our business.

Any reprints larger than 8x10 go through us directly, and we use WHCC for that.
