Only had 45 minutes, but this was so much fun. All she kept telling me is that she didn't want ANYTHING cheesey (or at the wedding), and then I showed them some textured examples and they loved it, so I went all out edgey on it. CC greatly appreciated (especially as I am still learning textures).

What do you think of this one? I love it because it evokes emotion and portrays movement to me, but am not sure if it is going to have general appeal for my website and such.

A couple more on the blog.

Thanks!
Leonie Allan

Thanks for the comments everyone. I *love* number 3 too; just evokes so much emotion and happiness for me. Unfortunately my husband hates everything sepia so I couldn't get any good feedback on that one until now smile.gif

#3 is the Totally Rad "Old Skool" action. It was driving me crazy trying to figure out the processing that The Image is Found used in images like http://theblogisfound.com/images/content/sd_037.jpg and Melody told me to get that one... close enough smile.gif

The rest is basically just basic Lightroom adjustments-- high contrast, clarity, tweaking the curves, and then going into PS and adding in some textures.

Thanks everyone else who responded smile.gif They ARE awesome. Isabel just randomly emailed me yesterday to let me know how amazing she thinks I am, and how much she appreciates me. Makes you feel GREAT to have such thoughtful clients.

If anyone wants to check out their guestbook, it's:

The opaque parts are going to be a bit more in the final product, just couldn't get it to show up right there. I'm so excited to get it in a couple days-- my first guestbook too smile.gif
