This really annoying "friend" of mine is driving me nuts. He's hitting me as I type this. He's a papermaker (read: wacko artist) and wants to do what I've been doing in photoshop in Elements and I don't know if it can be done. Here goes:

He puts flowers and vegetables into his paper, and is sick of all the work it takes and wants to print (using inkjet) onto his (blank) paper. The paper is kind of brownish so the colors need to look "weird" on screen to look right on the brown paper. To see what I'm talking about, look at his Web site: Thomas Siciliano Papermaker . I've gotten a couple of them to work out, but they take a lot of tweaking, and he's impatient with me.

I've been using layer masks and adjustment layers to do the tweaking. Being without a Windows machine, I don't know if PS Elements supports adjustment layers and layer masks. I guess I could have made this post a lot shorter by just using this paragraph, but it was kind of cathartic to dump my frustrations out. boxing.gif

V2.0 doesn't allow layer masks so far as I have been able to find. don't know about the newer ones.
