I dropped my iphone in the toilet (thats what happened to my last phone), and I heard you're suposse to take batteries out of electronics when they are wet to try to salvage them. the touch screen isnt working so I can't turn it off otherwise. I tried googleing, but not much help.

I love the iPhone but yes there are drawbacks...

I'll take it to the Apple store tomorrow, I just bought it last month. Hopefully they'll just give me a new one...I can dream, right?

Good luck with that! If Apple won't help you - you might want to check with your credit card company (if you bought it with a credit card) - a few Visa and AMEX cards have replacement protection policies on new purchases....

I've come dangerously close to the phone-in-toilet nightmare too! Those thin silicone cases really help prevent it from slipping out of your back pocket!

Wish I would of checked that out before I went and bought a new one at apple today! I had to buy a replacement at $250, which I guess is better than buying one at $400. Live and learn!

thanks i think there is a bug with firefox that needs to be fixed.
