After my first weekend with my D300, and the first time I shot jpeg in years, I have to say I like editing the portion of my shoot that I shot in jpeg better than the portion in RAW. There are two main reasons (mostly because of lightroom):

1) I find correcting white balance EASIER in jpeg. The slider for white balance with RAW editing is very touchy... a little movement on the slider results in a big change. The jpeg slider is a lot nicer to work with.

2) ACR noise reduction SUCKS for Nikons. The jpegs out of the camera (with low noise reduction) were better than anything I could do in ACR. Taking the images into photoshop and using Dfine 2 worked very well, but takes a lot of time.

Anyone else see these issues?
