I am looking for some nice little accordion albums or something similar that could be used as "brag books" for children's portraits. I was curious who you all used and what size photos they hold?

And for the small photos how do you all order sizes such as 2x3 or 2.5x2.5 do you cut them down?

I don't know if I am blind but it seems like for the labs I have seen the smallest is a 3.5x5 besides a wallet that has to come in 8.

Thanks

ooohhh, ooooh, I know the answer to this one! smile.gif I LOVE my jlee albums. www.jleealbums.com

They have a bunch of little 2.5 square accordians that come in different colors and I give them as gifts for clients. I love them. Apply for an acocunt and you'll see the professional pricing. smile.gif Hope that helps!

Do you cut your photos to 2.5x2.5 or do you get them that size. and what do you use to mount them? Thanks those look nice.

I use the jlee minis too. I size 'em all to 2.5x2.5 and put them on an 8x12 and cut myself. I mount them using scrapbooking adhesive squares.

Here's the place I get mine from (in Australia, but they have US distributors):
Seldex

And same as Nicole, for the smaller size, I print multiple images on a single sheet of paper, and cut them up afterwards...

Also, they do Brag books as well - mini albums, all bound etc smile.gif

TAP has some little wallet-size albums that are very nice. The regular ones hold 20 wallets and have a leather (or faux leather) cover and are just like a self-mount album.

They also have on that holds 10 wallets that's an accordion style. Five on each side. These are the nicest ones I've seen. Renaissance The Book also has wallet albums, but the TAP ones look nicer.

You can get them in Black, light blue, pink, light green, and maybe some other colors. The 20-page album style ones come in additional colors, as well, like tan, dark brown, deep red, and maybe some more.

I think they're called "Superior Gems" (at least that's what's on the box). If you go to Albums Inc. and enter "Superior Gems" in their search box, you'll see what they look like. It seems they only offer a few colors, but they do come in others.

edit: You can find the black and Dark Brown ones here.

Newbie question here: How do you guys figure out your price for these? What I'm asking also asking is does it take a lot of time to put them together?

I would love to do something like this. I guess I thought everything "now a days" had to be digital printed books. But for kid's portraits, people would love these.

Thanks for your help.
