Full Version: Can't get Brilliant to install in LR on my Mac :(
OpenSourcePhoto > GetIt > Brilliant Bridge and Lightroom Presets

I looked through all the old posts and couldn't figure this out ... I just downloaded the Brilliant presets for LR, put them in the Library-AppSupport-Adobe-Lightroom-DevPresets folder and NOTHING. They are not there. I restarted LR. I restarted the computer. I was on LR 1.2 so I thought maybe that was the prob. Upgraded to 1.3, restarted everything again, re-copied the presets into the folder and STILL NOTHING.

Where the heck are they? How do I get them to SHOW UP????

Thanks in advance!

Ha! I KNEW IT! As soon as I posted this I figured it out.

For anyone else who might have trouble ... here's the answer ...

Open LR and switch to DEVELOP mode. CONTROL-CLICK where it says "User Presets" on the left side navigation. A little menu will pop up - click IMPORT and find the folder where all your presets are saved. There they'll be!

What a pain. That was NOT how it said to do it in the instructional video, DJ! I'm excited to try these out but damn, I spent an hour just trying to get them into the program. Not productive use of time! smile.gif
