Hi,

has anyone ordered prints directly from Leather Craftsmen West (print and bind but not design)? Do you know who they use and if the prints were awesome?

Cheers!

I always print and bind directly from LC West. While I do not know who they use for printing, I can say that the quality is excellent. Maybe they do all their own printing in house? Either way, I cannot tell the difference between my Pictage printed albums and my LC printed albums.

I wanted to ask about the process of Leather Craftsmen ordering- is it ok to ask here- I do not want to highkack the thread.

I have contacted the customer service as far as help or a tutorial for ordering from them- this is my first time, but the response I got back was less than helpful:

Hi, Attach please find the 2008 price list per your request. We do offer a new client orientation once a month. The next one is February 12th, please let me know if you are interested. Best Regards, ..........

After emailing them and telling them that I am in AZ and needed help besides the new client orientation- ( I cannot afford to travel out there for that) they havn't given me any other options or help.

I am surprised by this and wondered if anyone else had any insigt or suggestions as to how I might learn the ordering process better-

Thanks for the help.

I was thinking of doing the print and bind service- so it is good to hear that you think the prints are nice.

Tawnya,

Check out this link if you have not seen it already:

http://www.leathercraftsmen.com/printandbind.html

Click on links "FTP Options Available" and "heres how it works"

I am set up with an FTP account, so I just upload my jpegs when they are done along with a PDF version of the order form, email them to let them know I uploaded files and I am done.

If you have specific questions about filling out the order form then let me know and I will do my best to help.

We have heard mixed reviews about the print quality. Seems like a handfull of our photographers that moved to have LC print, have moved back to us printing and drop shipping with their order forms.
