Maybe it's been asked before, but I can't find it.

I made my 2nd ShowIt Slideshow (very exciting!), and I've already published it to the web.
I didn't check the box that offered the option of ordering a DVD.
The bride wants a copy.

Do I have to remake the show...? Or is there a way to make ShowIt DVD if I didn't mark
that box?

It's possible I will find out this stuff once I can get on the ShowIt DVD site.
BUT I can't remember my password, and it's taking a little too long to be emailed to me...
So I hope you don't mind me asking here... if anyone can help!

Thank you! smile.gif

Mmk.... I just created a new account... As I take it, all I need to do is upload the URL, and I can order the DVD based off of that!
....
However, now I'm seeing that i need to validate my slideshow... lookin into that.

the big question is whether you had the make DVD box checked on the first page, otherwise its not going to work. If you look in the slideshow folder, there should be a folder thats says something like DVD123456 but with different numbers. If thats there, you're good to go.

If not, its not going to work. What I would do then is edit your show in showit, save the music/timing/transitions as a template. Then remake the show with enable DVD botton checked on the first page. That way it stores higher rez images for the DVD and lower rez images for the web.

I've forgot to check that box on the first page that lets you create a slideshow and it's a bummer. Follow what Corey said and you'll be fine.

Just remember that you have to tell Showit Web to create the DVD folder in the first page, otherwise you can't enable the order DVD button.

I think I'm going to have to do this.
Can I scream now??
(I would, if my husband weren't sleeping in the next room.)
I did custom timing. This is why I'm irritated.
Only took me like 2699 hours to get it perfect!!
Ok, it's not perfect, and it didn't take me that long. But it's not necessarily something i want to spend time doing over again.... But are you saying that I can save my custom timing...?
Hmm.

Yes you can save the timing. It's on the same tab where you pick you music.

The only hitch will be if you deleted or moved slides that you imported when you created the show.
