Joy,

Just watched the entire show.

WOW! There are an incredible number of images in there that are just simply amazing. I saw a few that had little nitpicky things, but by the end of the show, I can't remember any of that.

GREAT colour, fantastic exposure control, and good flash control, stood out as positives. Only saw a couple of "hot" pictures, but they were nicely treated.

Overall, a great show, and i am sure THEY will love it!

Wow! Congratulations on a job well done! Those were fantastic! She will be jumping up and down happy I am sure. Great location as well!

Alright, I'm convinced that enough people want to see an honest opinion that I'll take the time to type one.

In the slideshow I think you made a great choice in music. I do not like the opening image, a bride probably doesn't care but to me I see it as 'OK, what's that sign have to do with anything?"

The second image needs a little selective levels adjustment on the pedestal and plants.

Miss Priss photo is great, the blown out highlights are a little distracting but I don't get hung up on it. Maybe arrange another photo of the bride closer to so it is less of a single image and more of a series within a show.

I think Charles (imaginethatsc) had a good point about slideshows a while back, vary up the zoom in, zoom out, zoom in, zoom out. Do a few in, a few out, then stop, just make it more interesting.

A few of the BWs seem to have too little contrast, though this is just subjective in how I convert to BW.

The ring bearer pillow is seriously blown out, you can do a PS selection of just that and add a few multiply layers, if there is any information left whatsoever you will bring that highlight back.

I might cut back the images by 20%. I saw a lot of great images but there were a bunch that I didn't think added anything. I only made it through half the show because I accidently hit the backspace key and restarted it so there may be more to add later.

WHEW!! I feel much better! Here I was thinking, nothing is wrong with our pictures or....they just totally suck!

THANKS A BUNCH Brady!

But overall....is it worthy to you, meaning enjoyable? wub.gif

(Of course I think so, cause he's my husband!)

No question about it, I enjoyed seeing the wedding images. Cut it back to the best of the best (which I know is really hard to do) and I would like it even more.

Most importantly I think the clients will really love it.

Great job. I didn't notice the B&W being too flat but do agree that the ring bearers pillow needs to be fixed because it is the focus of the shot. I would also clone out the blade of grass in the foreground of the group shot tilted and looking up at them. It is an awesome shot but I get held up on that grass on the way into it. Some of it was redundant and it could be a lot less images. You hit a home run with an image and then follow it up with not as nice versions of the same shot. An example would be the guys on the porch (B&W) the tight one of the older guy is great and the others pale in comparison next to it. Another would be the end with the bubbles. The second to last image is the money shot and is great, but having the not so good image following it hurts it's greatness. I loved the music. Some of the images seemed like they could have used more drag to bring in the ambient light more, and the overall room shots could be lightened up a bit. A couple of images would have more impact if they could have been cropped tighter. All in all a great job though.

Brady thanks for the acknowledgement. If you constantly zoom in and out of every photograph it takes away some of the emotion of the ones you do decide to zoom in/out. So just speratically have some images still with no movement.

The pace was great cross dissolves perfect. I watched alot of the slideshow, but it was a bit long. I would condense it a bit as you have mentioned. I love the bride walking down the steps, I love the fountain shot, you could almost feel and hear the water, and I like the groom holding the boquet up as he escorts his new wife up the isle. The only shot that made me really scratch my head is the "light ornament shot".

So I would condense the slideshow, with the best images. Great Song!!!!

No problem, it was great advice that I am working to implement on my site.
