Check out the images that were taken from over a mile away...

How crazy would it be to use a lens like this for anything?

Such a deal, and under $100.000! (used, of course)

That kind of puts the sigma lens I posted on to shame

I guess we looking at the same email at the same time. -sa

I guess they are hoping that a mass email campaign will find someone to buy it.

It would be fun to shoot with a lens like this just once.

There are some churches around my area that have rules so strict, it would take a lens like this to get good ceremony shots.

Probably won't buy it though... wouldn't fit in my carryon.

The ultimate lens for the "I'm an unobtrusive wedding photojournalist!" laughing.gif

Wow that is intense, and extremely creepy!

In the article there's a quote that there are more than 12 and less than 20 of these lenses. I wonder how many are owned by paparazzi?
RBothwell
So cool. I couldn't imagine carry that thing.
coreypolis
Less than 15 around. SI owns 2. Jim Jannard has one thats at his home on an island just off my parents property.

theres a video of it on a xl2 camcorder, with a 7x crop factor :laughting: min focusing distance was a quarter mile away IIRC
