I just shot a bunch of stuff with my 5D in "monochrome" (in picture styles) so its shot in B/W, but when I brought them up in bridge they were in color. Am I missing something? The camera even says B/W.
They are also B/W when I chimped them. Whats the deal?

i thought the same thing the first time I did that. Its a picture style and if you're shooting raw, all the color info is still there and coming up in bridge. They'll only really stay in the picture style you set up if you're shooting jpeg. sort of annoying, but you can always put them back to b&w in raw conversion. I sometimes set my camera to monochrome and shoot just to see the contrasts better.
