I thought I would pass this along in case someone is needing help in lighting basics. I love the Strobist, what a wealth of information. Anyway, I noticed they had a new video posted on the blog
http://www.strobist.blogspot.com/ Check it out!

Thanks for posting that Kim. Good basic information for those of us just starting to use off camera lighting.

A quick question for someone. I have a D200, 2 SB600's, and the Cactus triggers. I can mount the 600's on the trigger which goes on the tripod. If I were to use a trigger that needs to be plugged in, can I use the hot shoe to pc adapter with the flash, instead of on the camera, to plug, say pocket wizards into the flash? Will it work like that?

Thanks, Kim. That's a great link, and very timely. I'm just starting to learn about off-camera flash. I synced two 580EX's for the first time today.

Glad I could help. I've been wanting to do the One Light workshop, but that tour is crazy booked solid. So, I've been using other sources to get me by until Zach decides to swing up this way again. Hopefully he will.
