I have this image. The more I look at it, the more I really want to do something with it. I know some kind of moodiness or texture or , I don't know, but I just can't seem to get my head around what to do. I would love it if you could show me what you would do with it.

Thanks for your take on it. May I ask where you got your texture. I dont have many good textures.

I use textures from the yard, the ground, the sky etc.. though I would love to buy some as well.
I just wanted to tell you that I love that image so much even without texture. Beautiful expression and composition!

Charlotte, visit Pay It Forward blog... there are a lot of free goodies there. Not too long ago Nick (from this forum) posted a whole bunch of his high resolution textures there. I also collected mine over a period of time (freebies from different places). I like to incorporate warmer tones. On this picture I mixed about 5 different textures together, at different opacities, and mostly used Overlay or Softlight modes.
