Hey everyone,

My name is Sabrina, and I'm new! I was finally validated recently, so here I am. Let see...about me. I've always been interested in photography, but never had the finances or the time. But Now I have some time, and a digital P&S...and I've been snapping away. I have a blog. Its nothing sepctacular, but I'm trying my hands at different things. I hope to be able to buy a Canon /Nikon soon, or a Song(I hear they have fairly decent beginner DSLR).

I also love textures and post processing. Hopefully in the next 3 years I can upgrade to a Mac (lightroom, CS3 etc). I've really been playing around with it.

I am interested in the Fine Art of Photography. I care much, about people, their hopes, their dreams, and their lives. I care about the underdogs. I am into Activism, and human rights. (Lol, no you do not have me pegged!). I'm completing a graduate degree, and soon I'll be free to pay off some debts.

I'm hoping that my hobby will grow and that I can learn and grow with it. I'm particularly interested in light, and compositions, and the connection between people, objects. I like looking at the relationships in pictures.

So that's me! Hope I can learn alot from you folks.

I just got one of the new iMacs and am so happy with it. Keep your eye out for great deals on refurbished ones.

While I might not have you pegged, I figured you must be pretty smart, not because of the degree, but because you chose Mac.

Thanks guys. I'm hoping to get out and take more shots etc, and post my blog soon for some C&C! Oooh...refurbished Macs, I should search online and see what I can find. What do you think is a good beginners camera? I've been reading different photography magazines etc, but I'm hoping for some advice from the point of experience etc.
