Trying to rename files sequentially in a folder after I've already picked and post processed my images. How do I do that? THANKS!

Figured it out. Duh! Sorry, tried to delete this post and was unable to.

WAIT, came up with another one.
When renaming the files in a folder a pop up appears saying that I cannot rename because the file is missing or the file is not writable. Being the detective that I am, I realized the files that are "missing/non writable" are from my 2nd shooter. She had uploaded the files she gave me into LR and then exported to a disk which in turn she gave me. Do you think it's because the metadata (whatever you call it) has her copyright info on it? Is there a work around to this dilemma? THANKS for any and all response!

You can rename the files while in LR by going to the Library module > Library > rename. However, because (I think) the other tog's info is on the metadata it would not let me rename her files because unable to write on it. BUT

When you export under File Naming > template: (choose) Custom name-sequence
> Custom text: title such as getting ready... then it will ask you to start the number at (place what ever sequence you want to begin with)

There you have it, the work around. Hope it helps!
