Okay OSP brothers and sisters we officially invite you to another Photography Night! We get together six to eight times a year to discuss, share and help grow our photographic skills. This is a very supportive environment, so, if you are a newbie or an old-pro we would love to see ya!

We are going to break it down and I (Christobal) will act as your guide. We will look at several images from different photographers. Then we will analyze, dissect, and figure out what makes them tick. We will also talk about how they could have been done differently.

This is something we did on the OSP cruise which was very well received. I've been doing this for years and it has really improved my photo-game big time. This technique is a great way to practice seeing without shooting.

Space is limited and we can handle a crowd of about 50 people. So far we are halfway there. We will be meeting at Hi-5 in Raleigh, N.C. on Monday, February 11th at 6:30 p.m.

Chris, I seriously just about started looking for flights to come down to see you guys again and do this. But, I have a commitment on the 12th that requires me to be home, and I just can't imagine going all the way down to Raleigh for just a couple of days.

For anyone who can make it, the portion where you will analyze, dissect and critique some photos is invaluable! On the OSP Cruise, that was one of the highlights for me.

Yea, this is going to be pretty cool and we are going to have a great time. I just found out that they are going to have $3 beers + free tasting for us (well and for anyone who walks in the door).

What a great combination! Beer, a $5 menu and we get to take a look at some cool photos. Oh, and yes they have wine for the wine-o's out there.

Sorry Chris you can't make it down but I guess Kathleen, Shane and I will drink a beer for you. I'll send a shout out for you at the meeting and then spill a little beer on the ground for you as well . No worries...we do this Photography Night thang often and maybe you can make it out another time. It would be great to see ya again!

We look forward to seeing you and Elizabeth at Hi-5. I really do think networking, sharing thoughts and ideas helps everyone. Honestly, I don't understand why people have a "fear-based" mentality when it comes to photography. Together we are going to change that thought process!

Hey Cris and Kathleen! It is awesome that you guys are doing this. Folks, we took our Lydell Photography crew on the OSP Cruise and this was our highlight too! If you want some good critique by people who care about you and your work and are warm and friendly then GO! We are so glad you guys were our speakers and that we were able to go.

Wish we could make this sounds like fun! Tell Shane Mark will be happy to trade a radial blur for a sun flare!
