I have looked until I'm cross-eyed wacko.gif maybe you guys can help.
I am trying to find a vendor that supplies a Viewmaster (a kid's toy where you can view photos and click through them with a lever on the side) with photos I have taken.

I looked at a few different places and so far it seems they only offer these in LARGE quantities. I want to do them for Seniors so I need to be able to order 1-2 at a time.

I saw on Jeff and Julia Woods website they do these for kids sessions. Anyone know who they use? I've already sent them an email.
Thanks for the help!!!!

I'd be interested in this, too. I have a stereo camera but don't have any way to view the images in 3D. A low-quantity viewmaster would work.

I don't know of a company who does it - but you can buy the camera, the cutter, etc... and do them yourself. It's about $500-1000 for a decent setup - then of course you have to buy the reels to mount the slides on too.

It's pricey, but doable. I have all that stuff in a box somewhere - it's fun, but it's sooooo time consuming. I'd have to charge a fortune to make it worth it.

I looked at them, but their minimum is 1000 reels or a short run of 100+ for an extra $200.
I just need one at a time.
Actually I have found a lens that will go on a digital camera and take stereo pairs here: 3D Lens in a Cap
and I have found where I can get the viewers and empty reels. I just haven't figured out how to print the digital photos onto a see through film to cut and insert into the reels. I guess those would be slides? or film?

Any ideas on a cost effective way to get the photos printed on a see through slide type material?

Ok I've got some links here but no time to sort through and see if they are what you need but man, I'm totally into this idea too:

3d view master

Same site different page

Some personal reel page

A DIY site

Thanks Mark! I've been to most of those sites already, but I'm taking a second look at them to see what I missed.

I just can't get the image out of my head of a group of Seniors in the hall at school passing around the Viewmaster with little Sally's totally rockin' senior portraits in it! I'm on a quest to figure this out!
If anyone comes across any more good info let me know! smile.gif
