How do you guys package your DVD's over and above a regular DVD in a clear case.
Lori Anderson
Great question. I'd love to hear feedback on this. Right now, I make a custom DVD jacket to slip in the case along with a glossy custom label on the DVD. I also wrap my cases with a nice ribbon.

I was looking into the same thing today. Here is a company I looked at so far: Neil Enterprises.

We use the neil enterprises dvd folios for weddings, and a white slipcase with a nice printed label on the front for anything else.

If anyone is looking into label options, we just ordered custom labels from frontierlabel.com. They have some exquisite and affordable label options...at least request samples from them because they are great! We will be using them on everything from bags, presentation boxes, CD/DVD slipcases, etc.

We had our designers (Reddoor) do some custom dvds and cases for us. They definitely were expensive, but we feel like having custom dvd cases is really great because it fits in with our other materials perfectly. I know it's not always an option because of expense, but if you were able to have some custom cases made, I'd really recommend it-we've gotten a lot of comments on it, and I love how it's the exact branding (type of material, color, logo, etc) that's in our other material.

I use these:http://www.topflightalbums.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=739

Then, I customize inkjet DVDs to include a photo and my logo.

Actually I use a clear case, but it's the Jewelboxing ones. They come with blank 2 page inserts you can print something custom on, plus the dvd labels and something for the back of the case as well. I love them cause I can design them to fit the couple. smile.gif

I use CD slip case with my studio name and wed site address. That's all. Very simple.

For clients after the wedding, I use a black dvd folio case - its got a matte board on the left inside cover, so you can put a nice picture in there, and then the printed disc goes on the right inside cover. I dont have any photos to show how I do it (must remember to do that), but here's page from the suppliers website:

I'm using JewelBoxing and it's been well received by my clients. I print using my Epson R280 and printable discs. I have samples on my blog here.

If you don't mind the work that goes into printing your own, they're easy to put together and look great. thumbsup.gif

I haven't used this company, but if you're looking for something with black leather, you might try this:

I saw Rice Studio at WPPI and was completely smitten by their work! I just dont know how I can fit it into my services... I am 'hands off' on the prints, I have my own DVD cases from jewelboxing... maybe a box for an album? I just don't see what else there is...

Oh, I originally thought that it would be cool to have a little presentation folder for potential wedding clients with a business card slot, a CD slot, and room a few sheets (prices, samples etc), but then I started thinking that if my clients don't book me right away at our meeting (or before), are my chances of booking them after the fact going to increase if I hand them over stuff we already talked about...especially if the meeting would be over at that time...?

but a big +1 on Rice Studio anyways wink.gif
