Those that know me know that I am a strong proponent of education and I try to attend at least 1 or 2 workshops a year. The Nudds just announced Elevate 3 in Denver and I am seriously bummed that I won't be able to attend as I attended Elevate 1 and Elevate 2 and they were both freaking amazingly awesome! Go check out those threads to see what I mean.

If you are looking for a workshop in the spring, I can't recommend this class enough. Garrett and Joy cover all the things a photographer needs to get your business to the next level. They cover it all: improving your art/photographs, business, marketing, vendor relations, etc… And what they cover – you can't find in books or on forums! I am really bummed because at each elevate class, they have guest speakers, and at this one they are going to have the director of catering and sales at the Ritz Carlton speak. That is definitely something that I would love hear because I certainly want to take my vendor relationships to the next level for sure!

So I am ending up missing two workshops I wanted to go to, Wieblab and Elevate 3. But fear not – I am certain I will go to one or two sometime this year.

I hope you all attend this workshop as you won't regret it!

YES!!! It is going to be excellent! Joy and Garrett are some of my absolutely favorites in the industry and I feel so lucky that they will be coming to Denver and having this at our space! I value their opinions, knowledge and business acumen so much - and can't wait to see what they have in store...

go, go GO to elevate with Garrett & Joy- this seminar changed the way we think about our business, and has helped us revolutionize the way we do everything from start to finish... it just gave us a whole new perspective. Everything was amazing, from the in-class time with Garrett & Joy, to the speakers (thanks Jen & Steve!!), to the shooting time and the late-night chats in the hotel lobbies. Invaluable, if you ask us. You WON'T regret it, so just GO.

I attended the original, wanted to attend #2 (but was moving cross country) and want to attend #3 (but am due to have the lil bambino April 20). Garrett and Joy - could you please make #4 a more convenient time for me???

Man... I wish I could go to this, but it's a week after the Finding Color workshop in Denver and I just don't have the cash!!! I Garrett and Joy and I hope I can get together for dinner while you are here!

Same here, a bit too rich for my beginners blood...for now although, give me a year and I'll be there...Inshallah...

I can understand the "no cash" issue. I didn't have that issue.


But if I was just starting out, I would beg or borrow the money and attend. The reason being is in the 12 months since the 1st elevate and putting the information and skills that I learned there has put me way ahead of where I would be otherwise and the increased revenue has easily paid for the course. I would conservatively say that I am two years ahead of the game because of those classes. And in those two years, who knows how much time and $$ I would have wasted. Looking back, it was the best thing I did in 2007 to help me get to the next level and the class was so awesome, I attended it twice.

I'd like to think that I played a small part in getting you those abs!

A good time *and* you will learn a ton! I loved Elevate 2! I learned a ton *and* met awesome people. Really? Could you ask for more???

Anything involving Garrett and Joy is worth every penny and minute spent! This includes(but is not limited to) speaking engagements, seminars, lunches, etc!!!

Go getcha some Elevate 3 and see what you learn(your head possibly could explode)!!!

I actually had to laugh! I've been hoping to meet you guys again someday. I'm not even positive if you both were there or if it was just Garrett, but I sat at the same table with you at the opening night dinner at Imaging USA in TX. I was looking through some cards I got at the table that night, trying to remember who all I met, and there was Garrett's card! ha! One of the others guys and I realized that we both went to the same tiny school here in CO so we got pretty wrapped up in our conversation. Here I met an amazing pair like the Nudd's and didn't even know it! I would have at least been a better conversationalist! hahaha- and don't take it the wrong way, I'm not the celerbrity status sort of girl, even though you guys ARE rockstars but more to the fact of I would have known to pick your brains more.

Elevate 2 was amazing! Garrett and Joy presented so much information from shooting to customer service and everything in-between. For me though, it was their passion and candor that made it that much more amazing. It's that passion that drives them to want to be better and lift everyone around them in the process. That candor and genuine desire to help others is what makes them great teachers.

I seriously urge anyone on the fence to just do it! It is worth every penny!!

All of the great feedback has definitely convinced me to signup. I'm already excited and can't wait for it.
